An avid learner and engaging coach, Roger has a positive emphasis on the challenges, opportunities, and impact of leadership. His 35 years in leadership roles contribute to his desire to help leaders and leadership teams increase effectiveness for higher business outcomes.
Prior to Weldon Consulting, Roger was a senior executive in the banking industry. His experiences were varied, including directly managing teams, business development, sales management, leading a 900-person district, and interacting with stakeholders throughout the organization. He started his leadership journey in the US Navy, offering a different but no less formative experience in the leadership realm. The two constants in his career have been the need for increased outcomes and developing leaders to accomplish those goals.

Roger earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the Advanced Leadership Development Program from Georgia State University and Wharton Executive Presence and Influence Professional Leadership development course.
He is a certified executive coach and earned the International Coaching Federation ACC and PCC designations. He is also a practitioner with a variety of leadership assessments to include Individual, 360, and Emotional Intelligence oriented instruments.
Roger is an avid tennis player, backpacker, and 5X Ironman triathlon finisher adding to his appreciation of the long, step-by-step, exhilarating but challenging nature of the leadership journey.
